Devil Went Down to Georgia eBook Mercedes Lackey Reviews

Mercedes story 'Devil Went Down to Georgia' is great. The main female characters are strong and smart and resourceful. The only thing wrong with the story is that it should have been a full length novel. I loved the characters and was sad to leave them.
A worthwhile purchase. I usually don't enjoy short stories, but in this case I am glad I made an exception to that rule. Using a fairly standard plot, Ms. Lackey has given life to her characters. A boy, now the man of the house, seerks to protect his sister when the Devil takes an intrest in her. You know that they escape the Devil, but how they do it, and the ensuing emotions and suspense credit this authors great command of her craft. At the price, a power buy.

Two thumbs up! I'm a fanboi!
